DevOpsLingo collects the following information when you use the app:

Account information: Email address and display name via Google Sign-In or email/password authentication (Firebase Auth).

Usage and progress data: Lessons completed, XP earned, streaks, review queue, and achievement progress, stored in Firestore.

Purchase information: In-app purchase status processed through RevenueCat and Google Play. We do not store payment details.

Device information: Push notification tokens for sending daily reminders (expo-notifications).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

• Provide and sync your learning progress across sessions
• Unlock Pro features upon purchase
• Send optional daily reminder notifications
• Display leaderboard rankings

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties, except:

• Firebase (Google): Authentication and data storage
• RevenueCat: Purchase validation and subscription management
• Google Play: In-app purchase processing

4. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

5. Push Notifications

DevOpsLingo may send daily reminder notifications. You can disable these at any time in your device settings.

6. Children’s Privacy

DevOpsLingo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including Firebase’s built-in security to protect your data.
